The region of Moldova was inhabited about 300 thousand years ago.
Many tribes and nations had lived here, leaving a lot of settlements,
buildings, household goods, adornments and other artifacts which
became historical monuments and heritage of ancient culture. There
are such famous monuments-reserves like Stary Orhei, Soroka and
Bender fortresses, traces of Traian wall close to Kirkareshti village,
Rudi monastery, rock monastry Tsypova etc.
The heart of Moldova is majestic and leisurely Dniestre. Rest areas
lying on the banks of the river – near the city of Dubasari – are
lands of magnificent scenic beauty.
Fresh air, filled with sweet herbs odour, gentle Dniester water
attract here both native inhabitants and guests of our land.

|
Dubasari is just a stone's throw from the capital of Moldova, Chisinau.
35-40 minutes drive on a straight road – and you see boundless areas
of gardens and vines in Dniester valley. |
|
Moldova is famed for its excellent wines, so the guests of our
hotel can fully appreciate the race of wines in one of the tasting
rooms of Dubasari (at the production plant famous for its vermouth
“Buchet Moldavii”).
Among the tourist's routes, laid near Dubasari, outstands the water
route - using a motor-boat up-stream the river.

|
On both sides of the river one can see picturesque villages. For
all that they are similar in traditions and customs, every village
has its unique peculiarities, but the landscape – its own fascination.
For example, the village of Golerkani was for the first time mentioned
in documents of 1607. On the outskirts of this village early tripolian
settlements and burial grounds were discovered.
|
|
Up the stream Dniester forms steep turns, cutting lime-stone hills.
Close to Molovata Noua the banks of the river become gentle, making
sand beaches surrounded by riverside forests.
|

|
In spring the hotel situated close to the village is wrapped in white
cloud of blossoming gardens, in autumn – the air is filled with odour
of ripe fruit. Winter here is short, mild, yet snowy enough. |
|
Summer brings wonderful sunny days, cool evenings and nights which
make a perfect rest and holiday for everyone.
